Action:

1) Restart Windows 95.
2) Open the 'Device Manager', and select the 'View devices by connection' radio button.

3) In the 'View devices by connection' list box, double-click the 'Plug and Play BIOS', double-click the 'PCI bus', and select the hard drive controller that the CD-ROM drive is connected to, and click 'Properties'. (The hard drive controller 'Properties' dialog box appears.)
NOTE: If your CD-ROM drive is connected to an IDE controller on the sound card, view the sound card driver properties by opening the 'Device Manager', selecting the 'View devices by type' radio button, double-clicking 'Sound, video and game controllers', and double-clicking on the sound card.
4) View the information in the 'Device status' area.
